Re: Networked Drive - Source Not Found in Batch Mode
This isn't an FFS issue it's a permissions issue. Be sure that the user you are running as in task scheduler has permissions. Search this forum I know I've seen this issue posted before.

Re: deleted all my Files in 10 seconds without asking!
It is pretty obvious that if you right click on a file and select delete that it will delete that item not remove it from the list. What you wanted was to move your mouse over the icons in the center column and select the do nothing icon. I would also say that if you are new to ANY software, you sho...

If the feature isn't available on this or any other sync software, there must be a good reason.

I'll go out on a ledge here and say, no. This is a FILE sync program not a time/date sync program.

That's the idea of RTS. as soon as it sees a change it runs, hence real time.

Re: Windows Error Code 5: Access is denied.
FFS is behaving exactly as it should. If it can't write to GlobalSettings.xml how would you be able to use the application at all? It also begs the question if it's read only how did you get it installed in the first place? This would not be a wise feature request to program around your network/PC r...

Re: Compare folder 1 with 2 and then copy a special amount of files to folder 3?
Is it just me but if you're looking to compare 2 folders yet copy the files to a 3rd location you aren't looking to do a sync. And this is what FFS does a sync of 2 folder pairs.

I would say no. The object of FFS is to compare and sync a folder pair.

Re: Using FFS to update a second imaged backup drive
I run a monthly image of the system disk to a foldet in an external HD and run a daily FFS of personal files to another folder on the same HD. In the event Of a catastrophic failure I would image back to my system disk and run a reverse FFS of my daily sync. You could also clone your system disk to ...

Yes but if you have a large number of configs to convert it can be time
consuming. Some kind of batch convert would be nice. Is there a way?

Overwrite Prompt
Now in 4.6 when I go to save a configuration in the gui and save it a s a file
name that already exists it doesn't prompt to overwrite, it just does it. Is
this by design or is it broke?

Converter
Is there an updated converter program to convert 4.5 scripts to 4.6? I know is
a small change but I have many FFS scripts to convert and a converter would be
easier than through the interface. I know there was on back in 3.17.

v3.17 and Running from a Batch File
Prior to v3.17 I could run a batch like the example below and each sync batch would run and complete before running the next. Now when I execute the batch all sync batches execute and run simultaneously. Is there a way to stop this multi-sync run or to choose which way the batches run, i.e. single t...

Shouldn't Ver 3.9 go to Ver 4.0? 3.9 to 3.1 is backwards.
