Re: Some files in a batch run don't sync
When you save a .ffs_batch configuration, you can run it from the command line or double-click the file you created to run the sync to completion. When you are in the FFS GUI, clicking compare only compares and shows you the results to check. You can click the synchronize button and it will compare ...

You could also try running 'chkdsk /f G:\" from an administrator command prompt

Re: Several instances - wrong last backup dates
This has been discussed here before... I see this as potentially viable, but I do see a problem. If you restore or transfer this configuration to another device, FFS will report a list-sync date that wouldn't be correct since it hasn't even been run on that device yet. Or, environments with many com...

Re: Remove need for confirmation
Save it as a .ffs_batch file instead. Open FFS, select your configuration, click 'save as batch job' in the top-left, choose the settings you want, and save. Double-clicking a batch configuration will run automatically.

No, network drives don't support Recycle Bin. You can change it to permanent deletions or set up versioning to maintain your own 'recycle bin'

I can only speak on my previous experience with the donation version but try going to the unique URL you got when purchasing. There may be a spot to deactivate the previous license usage allowing you to install it on the new device.

Re: [Feature Request]: Enable "move" even if it wasn't sycned the first time
For every file on the 'source' side, FFS would have to scan every single file on the other side to find the corresponding file. How would FFS know if it is a match though? By file name? No, because maybe you want two files with the same name in different locations. By binary content? Also no, becaus...

Re: Error message I don't understand
My original explanation still applies, the file has been updated in both locations so FFS doesn't know which one to keep. You will have to resolve these conflicts manually

Re: Some files in a batch run don't sync
I have set up a batch job in the Configuration area, and today I noticed immediately after I had run the job (which I do manually), some files hadn't sync'd. I've not noticed any files being missed in previous syncs However, the overlooked files are definitely in the job, as when I click 'Synchroni...

Re: Error message I don't understand
You are using 'two-way' syncing, meaning changes on either side propagate to the other. Your issue is that both sides have changed, therefore FFS can't know which side you really want to keep! You can fix these conflicts yourself by deleting the version you don't want, by running a comparison in FF ...

Re: Copieing new files with memory of copied files
It seems using a Mirror sync variant, with the use of a database ("Use database to detect changes") should do the job you want. See here . Specify your "source" folder as your left base location, and your "destination" folder as your right base location. This is very i...

Re: Performance Improvements
Leave it at the defaultHi,
If I copy files from a network drive (very slow WD-Cloud) to an USB Drive (local memory card) on my computer.
What setting should I set (in paralelle file operation) in order to get the best performance?

Maybe that file is locked while FFS is running, creating a deadlock.

Re: Sync File in Wrong place
What is your picture even showing? Wrong file place, but where ? In the local location or in the cloud location? Re: Logs not deleting per options setting
Although looking at your picture, it still seems odd. According to my testing and description, I would expect the "02 Macrium Images" log from 5-21 to have been deleted. It was run first today, so having two logs makes sense. But then you ran the "01 My Files" sync, which would c...

Re: Logs not deleting per options setting
I also have logs set to 1 day. From the testing I just did, it works like this: - The cleanup only occurs once you run another FFS sync. This makes sense since FFS has to be running to perform this check and cleanup - For all configurations, FFS keeps the last log no matter how old it is. This makes...
