+1 vote for RSYNC support or delta copy support.

I backup my files on one drive to another using FreeFilesync v9.3 (Windows).
I also have virtual PC files, which can be as much as 750 Gb, so especially for these files the delta sync/rsync would be very useful.

It seems, the "Exclude all, include *.txt" kind of excluding doesn't work.

Currently it seems works this way:
- include *.txt is executed first, then excluded *.*, so result is NULL.

The correct excluding should be:
- exclude *.*, then include *.txt, so result is *.txt.

+1 vote to preserve dates and times of directories (very important).
+1 vote preserving ACLs.

Still does not keep timestamps of directories/folders in FreeFileSync v6.13 64bit.
Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

Syncing directories between two drives on the same machine, same HDD, mounted using TrueCrypt.
Both drives have NTFS filesystem.

I really miss this Pause compare feature.

FreeFileSync freezes at start, since last few release.
Windows says: Not responding.


What can I do to fix it?

FreeFileSync hangs after starting it.

Could be possible to have the RunWithBackgroundPriority option on the GUI?
Would be fine to be able to change easier.

I would welcome a feature to select a file or a folder and immediately copy to the file to the other side.

Context menu could have an "Immediate copy" item for a selected file or directory.

Auto update is a good idea.

I like how HeidiSQL mysql client software implemented update feature.
I would welcome something similar...

There is no feature on the SF.net to submit feature requests?

Would be fine to be able to backup and restore the window placements.
I reordered the windows, but when I upgraded, the window placements were reset.

Could be this fixed? At least have a GUI backup option.
